About Black Gram

Urad (Black Gram) is a rugged, heat and drought-tolerant pulse. Traditional types are sprawling and vine-like, taking up too much terrace space. Modern improved varieties are erect, compact, and highly resistant to mosaic viruses, making them an excellent nitrogen-fixing summer container crop.
