Portulaca grandiflora
About Portulaca
A low-growing succulent flower known locally as '9 o'clock' or 'Nau Bajiya'. It is practically indestructible in the extreme Lucknow summer heat. For terrace pots and hanging baskets, F1 hybrids are vastly superior to desi varieties as they stay open longer, produce double blooms, and form dense, compact trailing mats.
