About Groundnut
Groundnut (Peanut) is a fascinating crop where the flowers bend down and push 'pegs' into the soil to form peanuts underground. For terraces, 'bunch' varieties are mandatory; 'runner' types will trail out of the bag, leaving the pegs with no soil to penetrate, resulting in zero yield.
